Arcadis seeks a Senior Account Leader / Project Manager to join our team to lead and direct the development of water and wastewater opportunities as a client-facing project director / manager in our seller-doer model. This role will focus on growing our business in the Florida Panhandle and the broader Gulf Coast. This flexible role can be based out of Pensacola, Florida or Mobile, Alabama.

Role description:

As a Senior Account Leader, you will collaborate with our Area Leaders and Technical Experts to successfully win and execute projects and achieve our clients’ objectives while providing excellent client services. In addition, you will contribute to the strategic growth, planning and support of various key market initiatives throughout the region.

Role accountabilities:

  • Implement strategies to expand services to current clients and to add new clients.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships with a goal of becoming a trusted advisor to our clients.
  • Understanding client organizations processes and culture to create value added solutions.
  • Lead pursuit plans and develop client engagement strategies and participate in proposal development and interviews to win new projects.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and construction administration of projects to ensure we develop quality services and deliverables within project schedules.
  • Serve as a senior technical resources or project manager on small to large sized, multi-disciplined, municipal water / wastewater projects.
  • Support in the development of junior and mid-level staff.
  • Development of scope and cost proposals for task orders and projects.
  • Existing relationships with municipal clients in the region would be desirable.
  • Ability to deliver key financial performance including growth.
  • Travel up to 25% for project site visits, client meetings, etc.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in client/project management in the water/wastewater sector.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • P.E. License and ability to acquire PE Licensure in Florida within 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 15 years of experience.
  • 5 years relevant sales and account management experience.
  • Client/Project Management experience on municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater projects of various sizes.
